Skye is a passionate herbalist and medicine maker. She draws endless inspiration from the nature growing around her, connecting intuitively with plants and drawing on old herbal wisdom.
The kitchen is the heart of her home and work. Her philosophy is to weave herbal medicine into everyday life through food, beverages and rituals — for preventative wellness, vitality and pleasure! Skye loves exploring the sensory aspect of plants (and life!) as a pathway to deepen our access to both our physical and emotional bodies.
She is the founder of botanical apothecary Singing Violet, where you’ll find her medicines in the form of tinctures, tisanes, elixirs, syrups, vinegars, electuaries, hydrosols, oxymels, body oils and other inspired creations and medicines.
If you’re curious to learn more about medicine making, Skye teaches workshops, hosts circles and offers acute herbal consultations at the Bronte Dispensary. For something a little deeper, she facilitates Intuitive Plant Readings, where you can explore your own relationship with plants and receive guidance around what is unfolding in your life and body.

Intuitive Plant Readings

An intuitive exploration of plants, wellbeing and what is unfolding in your life and body.
Perhaps you’re moving through a transition, feeling overwhelmed or uncertain, processing grief or sadness, or simply curious about deepening your understanding of plants and yourself.
An Intuitive Plant Reading begins with a conversation about where you are and what you’d like to explore. From there, I’ll guide you through a 20-minute plant journey to see what insights and healing are ready to come through.
The final part of the session is a bespoke plant prescription, bringing together what has emerged from the journey with my herbal knowledge and intuition. Together we explore the plants that may offer support at this particular point in your life.
You’ll receive a handmade medicine, along with your personalised plant prescription.
