As the cooler August days settle in, it's the perfect time to give your immune system a little extra love. We're big fans of Elderberry, a powerful winter herb renowned for its immune-boosting properties. Elderberries are packed with antioxidants and vitamins that can help support your body's natural defenses.

Here's a simple and delicious Immunity Tea Recipe you can try at home:

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon dried elderberries

  • 1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger

  • 1 cinnamon stick

  • 1 star anise (optional)

  • 2 cups water

  • Honey or maple syrup to taste (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Combine elderberries, ginger, cinnamon stick, and star anise (if using) with water in a small saucepan.

  2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes.

  3. Strain the tea into a mug, pressing on the solids to extract all the goodness.

  4. Sweeten with maple syrup to taste, if desired.
